Goal
Record that the problem on a Non-compliant work order has been fixed. Resolution logs the repair (note, date, author) without rewriting the status: the work order stays "Non-compliant" in the history (Law 16 truth), but now counts as compliant in the compliance summary.
Audience
Administrator of the building or the person assigned to the work order.
Prerequisites
- The work order is Non-compliant and not yet resolved.
- An anomaly has been described (see Mark a work order non-compliant).
- Be an administrator or assigned.
Steps
-
Open the work order, "Information" tab, then click "Edit".
-
In the "Current status" menu, choose the "Resolved" option. A green "Mark as resolved" form appears.

-
Fill in the "Repair note" (required): describe what was repaired.
-
If follow-ups exist, you can link the resolution to one via "Link to a follow-up (optional)".
-
Click "Confirm resolution". A "Resolved on (date) by (you)" badge appears.
The status stays 'Non-compliant'
Resolution does not rewrite the status: it only records that the problem was fixed (date, author, note, optional link). The repair date is set automatically to today.
Tips and common errors
- Note required: without a repair note, the resolution can't be confirmed.
- Effect on compliance: a resolved non-compliance counts as compliant in the Law 16 summary; only unresolved non-compliances remain flagged as open problems.
- Reversible: a resolution recorded by mistake (or if the problem returns) can be undone; see Undo a resolution.
