Goal
Quickly fix a component's installation year or end-of-life year, directly in the table, without opening a form; this updates its urgency level.
Audience
Administrator of the building (editing is disabled for other members).
Prerequisites
- Be on the component inventory.
Steps

Double-click an Installation date cell (or hover it and click the pencil). The cell becomes an input.

Type the year (between 1900 and 2100), then Enter to save (or Escape to cancel). A "Component updated." message confirms.

The End of life year is edited the same way.
End of life depends on installation
To set an end-of-life year, the component must first have an installation year ("Please first fill in the installation year."). Behind the scenes, end of life = installation year + estimated lifespan.
Tips and common errors
- Validation: a year out of range (1900-2100) is rejected with an inline message.
- Immediate effect: changing these years recomputes the component's urgency level.
