Goal
Manually add a work order to a maintenance task, in addition to those generated automatically by the recurrence. Useful to schedule a one-off future work order or to record a work order that has already been done.
Audience
Administrator of the building.
Prerequisites
- Be an administrator (the building must not be read-only).
- Have opened the relevant maintenance task (definition) modal in the log.
Steps
-
Open a maintenance task from the log, then find the "Add an intervention" section.

-
Choose the mode:
- Schedule: for an upcoming work order; the date must be in the future.
- Record (already done): for a work order already completed; the date must be in the past, within a limit of 5 years.
-
Enter the date.
-
Click "Add an intervention".
The new work order is created with the To do status and inherits the task's default assignee.
Two modes, two date rules
In Schedule mode, a past date is refused; in Record mode, a future date is refused. In every case, a date more than 5 years in the past is rejected.
Tips and common errors
- Date error: an error message flags a date incompatible with the chosen mode; check the mode before correcting the date.
- Beyond 5 years: a date more than 5 years in the past is refused; this cap keeps the history consistent.
- Administrators only: manually adding a work order is reserved for administrators.
