Remove a member from the building

Remove a member from the team; they become a "former member" and can be reactivated later.

Goal

Remove a member from the building's active team. The member becomes a "former member": the action is reversible.

Audience

Administrator of the building.

Prerequisites

Be an administrator.
The action applies to another member, not yourself.

Steps

Open the "Building settings" modal from the dashboard, Team tab.
On another member's card, click the red Remove button.
A browser confirmation dialog appears with the member's name. Click OK to confirm (or Cancel to abandon).
The member is removed from the active list and moves to the collapsible "Former members" section, with a "Left on …" badge.

Reversible removal

Removing a member is a "soft" removal: the member isn't deleted, only marked as having left. You can reactivate them at any time from the "Former members" section.
